Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud al-Busaidi, the Omani Minister of Foreign Affairs, held bilateral consultations with Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who arrived in Muscat today, Wednesday, for a one-day visit.
The two sides expressed their deep pride in the strong historical and fraternal relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples, and their wise leadership keenness to deepen and strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields that yield more mutual benefits, enhance common interests and open new and diverse horizons that support trade, investment and tourism opportunities as well as developing scientific cooperation And in the sectors of energy, technology, transportation, cybersecurity, health, agricultural and fisheries, the environment, and other fields.
On the diplomatic and political level, the two sides exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues, and stressed the importance of joint Gulf action within the framework of the Cooperation Council for the Arab Gulf States, and following up the results of the "Al-Ula" summit hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the fifth of last January, in addition to work. To support and support all efforts aimed at consolidating the foundations of security, stability and peace in the region and the world at large.
