Oil prices recorded $ 64.57 for Brent crude, up by $ 2.62, or 4.2%, and US West Texas Intermediate crude reached $ 60.97 a barrel, up by $ 2.42, or 4.1%, from the settlement on Friday.
Global media reports stated that oil prices are heading to record a weekly loss estimated at 3%, after oil prices recorded a drop of about 6% during the past week as a result of the impact of the expectation of oil demand by renewed closure measures in European countries with the outbreak of the third wave of the new Corona virus.
